The Dukan Diet

Perhaps, you are already with the other extreme diets especially for losing weight. However, for those who want to have the body of the weightlifter or a bodybuilder, the Dukan Diet is the right one and highly recommended.
Basically, the principle behind this diet is to eat any food that your heart desires as long as it is protein rich such as red meat, fish, milk, soy beans, cheese, yogurt, tofu, beans and nuts. Nevertheless, self-discipline should be observed because it is still a (diet) program to be followed. There are four phases to be religiously followed: attack, weight loss, stabilization and cruise phase.
To begin with our attack first, it is a must that we commit ourselves to eat vegetables and fruits and to add only lean veal (red meat such as beef), white meat (like chicken and duck without the skin), fish, eggs and zero-fat milk, yogurt or cheese. We will do these for at least ten consecutive days. The reason for this is to train our digestive system to memorize and to accept this kind of foods.
On the eleventh day, we will commence our weight loss phase. For a five day cycle, we will have an alternate eating pattern. For example, on Monday we consume non-starchy vegetables; Tuesday we eat high protein; Wednesday veggies again, Thursday, fish and eggs so on and so forth. We continue to do this until we attain the right weight we want. This routine is also being used by boxers who want to maintain in their weight division. Moreover, it is highly suggested to drink at least 2 liters of water each day to help in cleansing our (digestive) system and keep us hydrated.
Maybe on the sixteenth day, we are ready for the stabilization phase. This time our eating routine will be a little stricter. We need to eat at least one serving of fruit (such as banana or apple), two slices of fiber rich bread and 2 ounces of cheese a day. In a week, we need to have 10 ounces of the usual protein without extra oil or butter. Also twice a week, eat two unrestricted meals and have glass of wine and some dessert on the side, which you should follow a day after eating proteins.
Finally, for the (cruise) last phase a Dunkan Diet will allow us to eat anything we desire in a day; however, for the rest of the week we need to take proteins only.
Remember, that diet only will not make us a body builder, it still requires physical activity and self-motivation to complete this mission.
